In March 2021, Gustavo Dudamel returned to the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (RCO) after a seven-year hiatus for a celebrated performance broadcast on Medici.tv. The program featured Mozart’s Overture to Die Zauberflöte and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, with soprano Camilla Tilling performing in the latter. The concert marked Dudamel’s first time leading the Amsterdam-based orchestra in a Mahler symphony.
