McGuire as Chair of Its Board of Trustees"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>GREENPORT, N.Y., March 10, 2026 \u2014 Peconic Landing is pleased to announce the appointment of Eileen T. McGuire of Peconic, NY, as Chair of its Board of Trustees, effective January 2026. McGuire was appointed to the Peconic Landing Board of Trustees in 2018 and has served as a valued member of the nonprofit\u2019s Board Finance Committee, Board Marketing Committee, and Board Building Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peconic Landing\u2019s Board of Trustees provides fiduciary oversight and strategic guidance to support the long-term success of the nonprofit life plan community. The Board is responsible for approving operating budgets, strategic initiatives, and policies that ensure the organization continues to fulfill its mission with integrity and excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am honored to be the Board Chair of Peconic Landing,\u201d said McGuire. \u201cIt&#8217;s a pleasure to be able to contribute to an organization with such a professional and caring team. We all work together to make Peconic Landing a wonderful place to live and work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>McGuire is an accomplished business and technology leader with extensive experience in global governance, strategic planning, methodology and process. Before retiring, she was a Director within Compliance and Customer Experience at the global insurance organization AIG. While at AIG, she worked with global colleagues to meet the requirements of the Federal Reserve Bank to bring AIG into compliance as a Globally Systemically Important Financial Institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her professional background also includes serving as Senior Vice President at Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, where she created, launched and communicated compliance of processes and procedures for Global IT and Operations. Eileen also did consulting work for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in their technology area creating their project management office and increasing project management standards and success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eileen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Caldwell University and has completed executive education and professional seminars through MIT Sloan School of Management and the Harvard Kennedy School while working with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has served on the board of the Southold Historical Museum and has volunteered with numerous not-for-profit organizations, including CAST, Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, East End Arts Council and the Wounded Warrior Project. Eileen is also a member of the North Fork Country Club and has volunteered on the House Committee and the Community Relations Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPeconic Landing is fortunate to have a Board comprised of leaders with deep professional expertise and a strong commitment to our mission,\u201d said Robert J. Vandenburgh, and Edward Wellington Webb II (Secretary). Peconic Landing also welcomes two new Trustees, Margaret Poster and Michelle Harmon-Madsen. Poster was appointed in November 2025 and brings extensive experience in business strategy, organizational alignment, and financial oversight, having held senior corporate roles ranging from Fortune 500 to privately held companies.
