Join Beth for an in-depth conversation exploring the increased importance of small town journalism to grass roots awareness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Speaker:<\/strong> Beth Young, born and raised on the North Fork, is Editor and Publisher of the East End Beacon, which she founded as a website in 2013 and as a weekly area newspaper in 2017. She received a Master\u2019s Degree in Journalism from Columbia University in 2007 and has reported for the Sag Harbor Express, Southampton Press, East Hampton Press and Times-Review Media Group.
